Project Rose
Project Rose started as a heartfelt initiative by Mrs. Merlin, Trustee of Dayal Educational Trust, to support the education of deserving, underprivileged children.
With the unconditional support of her husband, Mr. Sundeep, Chairman of Dayal Educational Trust, this initiative has grown beautifully. Today, we are proud to have seven incredible children registered under this special educational project.
Why We Believe in the Power of Education
Education is more than just textbooks and degrees; it is the single most powerful tool to break the cycle of generational poverty and oppression. For an underprivileged child, a classroom is a space where their background ceases to define their future. It gives them a voice, independence, and the critical thinking needed to navigate life's challenges.
These seven children have their own unique stories of struggle, heartbreak, and immense hard work. They come from entirely different backgrounds and walks of life, but they stand united today under one singular mission: Education.

Nisha's Journey: From Rescue to the Skies
In February 2016, Project Rose truly began with the rescue of Nisha. She was just a five-year-old orphan, deeply vulnerable, whose own relatives had tragically tagged her as "cursed" and targeted her for sacrifice. We stepped in, rescued her from her village, and brought her into our care.
Today, Nisha stands tall as a bright, confident student in Class X, aspiring to fly high and build a career as an air hostess.
Breaking Barriers: Giving Wings to Three Brave Girls from Nepal
Next, we welcomed three young girls from Nepal who carried a deep desire to study and liberate themselves from societal oppression. However, their families simply couldn’t afford it due to severe social and financial constraints. Dayal Educational Trust backed their dreams completely. Today, after successfully finishing their schooling with our support, two of these bright girls are ready to pursue their BBA degrees at the Dayal Group of Institutions, run and managed by the Trust.

Rebuilding After COVID-19: Hope for Three Young Boys
The pandemic left deep scars, but Project Rose stepped in to ensure that tragedy didn't steal these children's futures:
The Two Brothers: After losing their father to the COVID-19 pandemic, their education was at risk. We took them under our wing. Today, the older brother is preparing to pursue his BBA at the Dayal Group of Institutions, while the younger brother has successfully cleared his Class X exams.
Our Youngest Dreamer:
The youngest child in our project is the son of a brave single mother. She reached out to us post-COVID-19 when managing survival and her son’s education alone became impossible. Though he lost a few crucial academic years during the crisis, he is now thriving in Class IV. He is a remarkably bright student who now firmly aspires to become a doctor.
